My work intends to reflect the banality of everyday life and how its smallest and most insignificant details can at times become so excruciating. In this vein, I put forth a humorously bleak outlook on a diverse range of subject matter: from self-loathing to narcissism; from possession to obsession; from tragedy to the endless pursuit of hyper-happiness. I have used print media, video, sound, performance, photography, music, sculpture and drawing to communicate poetically simple ideas. Deep consideration is given to the continuity between the concept and the employed medium, but in the end the concept is the strongest force in my work.
